TAKE NOTE

PARENTS OF PRESCHOOLERS (ages 2-4) Plans are underway for your child be involved with a small rendition of the Christmas Story during both services on Sunday, December 14. The practice will take place on Sunday, December 7 (10:15-10:40am). Your child will need a simple costume of your choosing (sheep, shepherd, angel, etc.) and be in their Sunday School classroom by 9:45am on December 14 (coffee, juice and snacks will be available for you and your child in their classroom between services). WOMEN OF HOPE RADIOS Thank you to everyone who participated in the Silent Auction held at the ladies' Connexion Cafe on Monday. Over $1,000 was raised to send to TransWorld Radio for their Women of Hope ministry in Africa (enough for 13 radios)!

FINANCIAL UPDATE Attached is the Financial Update for October from the FPC. Thank you for your continued giving to OEFC through your finances and service! MISSIONS FUND UPDATE: Budget YTD $67,920; Income YTD $79,100; Expenses YTD $67,428 (we also collected $17,186 for the Mission Project related to the Gilmores; not included in Income/Expense above).

STAFF GIFT This Christmas Season we have the opportunity to show our appreciation to our OEFC staff by blessing them with a monetary gift. If you would like to contribute, please place your gift of cash (no cheques) in an envelope marked Staff Appreciation Gift and place in the offering basket, drop off at the church office during the week, or give to Randy R. The last day to contribute is December 21. The Finance and Property Committee will distribute your gifts to our staff members. Please note your gifts will not be eligible for a tax receipt. If you have any questions please contact Randy.

CHRISTMAS EVE @ OEFC Our special Christmas Eve services will take place at 2pm and 4pm on December 24. We're looking forward to celebrating the good news of Jesus' birth with your family (please note there will be no Nursery care provided).

SHOEBOX MINISTRY Thank you to everyone who donated filled boxes for children around the world this year! Please continue to pray for the children who will receive these gifts as they learn about God's love for them.

PARKING ON SUNDAY MORNINGS Thank you to those who are able to park off-site (FAIM parking lot or the street west of Tim Hortons) to ease our parking lot issues, and thank you for being a good neighbour to those who live by the church by not blocking driveways, etc.
