For the summer: Kids ages 2 through Grade 6 will remain with their parents; activity packets will be available at the back of the room. OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE Finding Your Fit at OEFC CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES We are so thankful to have our Coordinator positions filled for NURSERY (0-2) Nancy; PRE-SCHOOL (2-4) Laurie; and CONNECT (Gr K-6) Sonya. Contact them for more information about volunteering! Working with children or teens at OEFC requires Plan to Protect training. Specifically, CONNECT is looking for the following (one month on; two months off if there are adequate volunteers): Grade 5-6 girls Teachers (separate class from large group session below) Kindergarten to Grade 4
PIONEER GIRLS has a long history at OEFC, but it may not run this fall unless someone steps up to be the Coordinator. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD is looking for a Drop Off Team Leader to assist with ordering boxes, setting up a display table at OEFC, and coordinating volunteers for Collection Week @ OEFC in mid-November. HELP FAMILIES DEVASTATED BY FIRES IN DENARE BEACH, SK Samaritan's Purse Canada is mobilizing volunteers to support this community where wildfires destroyed over 218 homes in early June. Volunteers will provide debris removal, property clean-up and ash-sifting, help residents salvage their belongings, and share eternal hope in Jesus' name. Thank you for praying for those devastated by the fires and for the teams as they share God's love and assist with recovery. |
