PLAN TO PROTECT There will be two opportunities to take this training (or refresher if you need it) in order to work with children and youth at OEFC! Sunday, June 1 or Sunday, June 8 (9 to 10am in the Board Room beside Chris' and Dwight's offices. Contact Pastor Chris to let him know which day you plan to attend!

MEXICO YOUTH MISSIONS LUNCH Join us Sunday, June 8 at 12:15pm for a lunch fundraiser for the Mexico Youth Missions Team! Enjoy great food, meet the team, and learn more. FREE sign-up HERE to let us know how many to expect! Lunch by donation.

CONNEXION CAFE on Monday, June 9 (7pm)...FIRES & FELLOWSHIP...Ladies, join us in the church parking lot for an evening around the fire with friends! Bring a friend, bring a chair! There will be smores, smokies, and snacks. We look forward to seeing you there! Weather permitting.

MEN WHO PRAY Weekly Prayer Meeting Please join Pastor Trevor and other men in the church for an hour of prayer at 8am on Wednesdays at OEFC, beginning on June 11!

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING & ELECTIONS We're happy to announce that Gerald and Pam are new members of OEFC! Jack K and Barry T were re-elected to the Elders Board, and Chris B (new), Keith H (new) and Randy R (incumbent) were elected to the Finance & Property Committee!

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES We are preparing a Grad Bulletin to celebrate our 2025 high school graduates! If someone in your household is graduating this year, please send their photo (grad or casual) along with their name, school graduating from, and plans for next year HERE by June 3! And grad families, save the date June 15 (Father's Day) for a Grad Barbecue!

BOTTLES FOR CHANGE There's a few weeks until Father's Day to continue filling a baby bottle with cash, coins or cheque for the annual Bottle Campaign in support of Mainsprings (Calgary Pregnancy & Family Support). Or give online in support of this local ministry.

Opportunities to Serve at OEFC
NURSERY COORDINATOR A wonderful way to support the young families in our church! Maintain schedule from a list of volunteers; recruit volunteers as needed; purchase snacks; regularly clean toys; empty diaper bag after 10:45am service. Training available! Contact Janet C.

PIONEER GIRLS CLUB COORDINATOR(s) The Tuesday night Girls Club is a great opportunity for ministering to kids and families in a fun environment! The coordinator recruits and organizes volunteers, teaches, and plans weekly club nights, usually consisting of a Bible lesson and a fun activity based on a curriculum. Running from September through April, this role can be done solo or with a co-leader. For more information, contact Cassandra H.
