Stay Connected for Nov 30-Dec 9

PARENT / CHILD DEDICATION Pray for the children and parents dedicated to the Lord in recent weeks:

GROWTH GROUPS Want to connect with others at OEFC in a deeper way throughout the week? Consider joining a Growth Group in the New Year! These groups are made up of 8 to 12 people and meet in homes weekly or bi-weekly to study, fellowship and serve together. Contact Dave Bustin for more information or to sign up!

For those who experience scent sensitivities we have designated the balcony as a scent-free zone.

Grace in Chaos: Feeling Seen and Valued in the Trenches of Motherhood From the transformations that pregnancy brings, through the miracle of childbirth and the “world-rocking” changes that follow, Kamloops author Leah Scott shares her joys and struggles as a mother. This book is a tribute to motherhood, while presenting a frank assessment of the challenges that women face with postpartum depression, endless exhaustion, marital conflict, pervasive “mom guilt,” and feelings of failure. The era of Instagram influencers adds another dimension to this pressure, where picture-perfect social media feeds contradict the sheer daily grind of motherhood. Grace in Chaos hopes to bless mothers everywhere and bring the message that they are seen, understood, valued, and wildly loved.

Pray for:

Many people to attend a Christmas outreach in Maesai Nalaw village and respond to the gospel. Indigenous Karen evangelist Pracha will bring other villagers and youth to join in the outreach with food, songs, games and gifts.

A Christmas outreach in Mae Wang church on Dec. 23. Many Buddhist villagers will come to this outreach which includes gifts, food, and games/music as well as a Christmas message.

Non-believers to be touched by God's love and that the Word of God will transform lives so they may be followers of Jesus Christ!

The Holy Spirit to draw villagers to follow Christ. Many are open to celebrating Christmas festivities but in general are opposed to changing their religion. Their hearts and minds have to be convinced by the power of God speaking through His Word and miracles in order to see that Jesus really is the Saviour of the world!
