Ladies Bible Studies
TUESDAY MORNING LADIES BIBLE STUDIES
The Tuesday morning study will resume on Tuesday, January 17, from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Childcare is provided and paid for with the donations of all the women attending the study.
We have two studies for the women to choose from on Tuesday mornings:
1) “David: Seeking a Heart Like His” by Beth Moore
Study Facilitator: Lyn Budd
If you’ve ever experienced doubts, temptations, losses, family problems or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you! In this study of the “man after God’s own heart,” David will delight and disappoint you. You’ll want to be just like him at times, and nothing like him at others. Come explore how David’s life proves that God never gives up on you!
Study Cost: $18
2) Inductive Study by Kay Arthur
Study Facilitator: Lisa Branch
The inductive study method is an investigative approach to the Bible using three basic components:
- Observation
- Interpretation
- Application
This group will start with a four week study called “Lord Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days.” This will be followed with a 12 week study, also by Kay Arthur, on Spiritual Gifts. Come prepared to do your weekly homework and also bring a set of pencil crayons.
Study Cost: approx. $30
WEDNESDAY EVENING LADIES BIBLE STUDIES
The Wednesday evening study will resume on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00 – 9:00 pm and go through a Beth Moore book called “James: mercy Triumphs”.
Study Facilitator: Lynn Seim
Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Plus, Beth introduces a 5-tiered study approach that she has never done before.

ONLINE BIBLE STUDY
“Faithful, Abundant, True” by Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer & Beth Moore
Study Facilitators: Marion Dueck & Penny Luciw
OEFC is launching a pilot project online Bible study. The online study is not intended to replace in-person Bible studies, but rather to provide an opportunity for women who would otherwise not be able to attend a study regularly.
The format is similar to attending a Bible study with videos to watch and homework to do. The difference is that the study is completed around the participant’s schedule and interactions and discussions occur online.
Study Costs: $15 for book and $5/week for 7 weeks of weekly downloads
